Providence, RI duo Brown Bird (David Lamb and MorganEve Swain) have a blistering live show that continues to be in high demand in 2012.  Horse Feathers (Kill Rock Stars) is the latest band to have Brown Bird supporting them on tour, with the dates hitting in late April and early May.  These dates are the latest in a massive run of spring tour dates that also include a support tour with the Yonder Mountain String Band, as well as a run of opening dates for Trampled By Turtles. If you're in Austin too, take note --- Brown Bird will be hitting SXSW as well.  The full run of updated dates can be found below.  Last but certainly not least, a new Brown Bird live video -- this time of them performing their song "Nothing Left" -- is now available. Salt for Salt, released by Supply & Demand Music (home to Dark Dark Dark, Vandaveer, etc), is best listened to in a room made of wood, where the warm layers of guitar, banjo, violin, double bass, cello, and bass drum (wooden rim) would hang as thick as they were meant to be.
